A 36-year-old man has been arrested and charged after a drugs raid in Edinburgh.
Around £57,000 of diamorphine along with 2.5kilos of amphetamine were seized at a house in Fidra Court in Muirhouse.
The man has been charged under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
Detective Inspector Stuart Harkness said: “As a result of an intelligence-led search we have seized quantities of harmful substances, worth a significant sum, before they could reach our communities.
“Police Scotland continues to act on information from the public to tackle drug crime and keep our communities safe.
“Anyone wishing to report offences of this nature in their area can contact their local policing team, call Police Scotland on 101.”
The man is scheduled to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court later today.
