A MAN whose body was discovered on a beach in Prestonpans at the weekend has been named by police.
Scott Hamilton, from Port Seton, was found by a dog walker at around 6.30am on Saturday.
The 27-year-old’s death is being treated as unexplained pending the result of a post-mortem examination.
Police now calling for anyone with information to come forward.
Detective Superintendent Pat Campbell said: “We are keen to speak to members of the public who may have come into contact with Scott Hamilton or who saw him on the afternoon of Friday through to the discovery of his body the following morning. Anyone with any information should contact Police Scotland on 101.”
