RESCUERS came to the aid of a man who fell near the top of Arthur’s Seat on Saturday.

Firefighters and paramedics escorted the man – who was described as “walking wounded” – down the hill in Holyrood Park before he was taken to hospital as a precaution.

The man took a tumble near Dunsapie Loch at around 12.10pm.

Fire crews from Tollcross, Newcraighall and Marionville attended the incident.
