THE West End’s Kyloe Cow has joined the Christmas party after it was transformed into a colourful festive decoration.
Passers-by and customers are being invited to write season’s greetings on the blackboard flanks of the cow, which has been brightened up by Edinburgh-based mural artist Chris Rutterford.
Mr Rutterford, 41, from Comiston, said this winter’s effort was a family affair after he recruited his son, Red, ten, and daughter Riley, seven, who helped design and paint the cow.
Mr Rutterford said: “They painted festive udders and I painted the board and the face. The kids just make it that much better fun – they look like a couple of elves in their workshop.”
