HEALTH secretary Alex Neil is set to chair the annual review of NHS Lothian on Monday.
Members of the public are welcome to attend the meeting, which will take place in the Thistle Suite at the Murrayfield Experience, within Murrayfield Stadium.
At the end of the main annual review meeting, there will be a 30-minute question-and-answer session at which members of the public will have the opportunity to quiz health bosses about services in Lothian.
Reviews of health boards, which take place each year, are intended to hold them to public account for their performance.
This year’s review will focus on improvements to healthcare services, the health of the population and the value of the service provided.
Organisers said that it will not be possible to answer questions about an individual patient’s care or treatment at the session. Sign language interpreters will be available at the meeting, which begins at 1.15pm.
