Net a prize at fishy census

A NEW Year stocktake with a difference is taking place at Deep Sea World, including a “fishy census”.

Throughout the event today and tomorrow, staff at the North Queensferry aquarium are inviting visitors to volunteer to help spot and record the number of certain species, including sharks, rays, clown fish, piranhas and frogs.

Experts will then do an official check and the child who most accurately reported the population of each of the selected species will win a year-long family pass.
