A NEW £1.5 million lounge at Edinburgh Airport has been opened by British Airways.
The development, which can accommodate up to 200 customers, is almost twice the size of the previous facility.
Designed by Scottish-based Graven Images, the walls of the lounge are decorated by the works of artists from Edinburgh School of Art and pieces from the British Airways art collection.
Other features include private work booths and “air printing”, which allows customers to print from their own mobile device.
Edinburgh Airport chief executive Gordon Dewar said: “This new lounge offers the ever growing numbers of passengers the chance to relax in comfort and style before they fly.”
Jim Keegan, British Airways regional customer service manager, said: “This exciting new facility represents a significant investment and demonstrates British Airways’ continued commitment to delivering customer service excellence both in the air and on the ground.”
