New eatery’s Scot the lot

AN Edinburgh restaurant that bases its top dishes on rare ingredients sourced locally has opened to customers.

The Pantry Farm Shop and Kitchen in Stockbridge will offer a menu featuring specialist ingredients such as free-range pork and apple and seabuckthorn presse.

Owner Chris Thompson said: “We’re passionate about the best seasonal and local food, whether enjoying the beautiful dishes lovingly prepared in our kitchen, or selecting from the great range of produce from our farm shop.

“We wanted to provide Edinburgh with a perfect one-stop shop from which to enjoy the great Scottish produce right here on our doorstep.”
