A RARE car which sparked a nationwide hunt after being stolen during a raid on a house in Livingston has been found in London.
The purple Nissan Skyline was taken along with watches, jewellery and cash worth more than £150,000 during the heist on Wednesday morning.
The rare car – registration N40 SKY – is worth £47,000 and is one of only around 20 in the UK.
Police said it was found in London on Thursday evening.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Police Scotland can confirm that the rare Nissan Skyline car stolen in West Lothian yesterday has been recovered today in the London area with the assistance of the Metropolitan Police.
“Enquiries are continuing into the associated housebreaking and officers are working to recover the other high-value items and cash which was stolen, and to bring those involved to justice.”
