THE Great Scottish Walk is returning to the Capital this June after an absence of six years.

The popular event was a fixture in Edinburgh for more than ten years, raising millions of pounds for charity.

Now the event is back with a brand new route, with walkers being given the chance to take part in either the 10k or 20k routes, which leave from Holyrood Park.

Little ones can also get involved in the Great Scottish Toddle.

The walk is backed by the Evening News, which has a long history of supporting charity walks in the Capital.
