AMATEUR and professional photographers will be allowed access to the Royal Observatory next month for the first Photowalks.
Photographers will be given a behind-the-scenes tour of the Observatory and invited to take photos that provide a new perspective on the world-leading facilities and the science they host.
The event will take place at the Royal Observatory on Tuesday, November 22.
The best of the photos will be eligible for entry into a unique regional and national competition.
Award-winning photographer and judge Max Alexander said: “Science and Technology Facilities Council Photowalks are a fantastic and rare opportunity to capture exciting images at leading science and technology facilities.”
