Steve Cardownie: Christmas festivities beat Hearts for spectacle
The Christmas celebrations got off to a spectacular start on Sunday, even if the first game at the new Tynecastle Park didn't.
Edinburgh’s festive events are the envy of many cities throughout the world and this year’s programme looks even more fantastic than previous offerings!
With people coming from all over the UK and abroad, the city economy will benefit greatly from the money spent by these visitors as well as the increase in footfall provided by city-dwellers.
Another exciting time beckons and children in particular will be enthralled by this year’s attractions.
