SHELTER Scotland took to the streets of Livingston with a campaign for more council and housing association homes.
Members of the public are being urged to sign up to the “End the Wait” campaign to make politicians build more rented homes.
Across Scotland, there are 156,000 households on waiting lists for a home. Of those, 7693 are in West Lothian.
Shelter Scotland director Graeme Brown said: “Households across can’t afford to wait any longer.
“We want as many people as possible to sign our petition to call on the Scottish Government to build 6000 new houses this year and in the next four years.”
