A giant ‘YES’ banner has appeared on the hills overlooking the Scottish Parliament.

The sign, which measures a whopping 15 metres by 23 metres was put up on the Salisbury Crags next to Arthur’s Seat by environmental group The Hills Have Ayes.

A spokesman for the group said: “It will hopefully galvanise voters and encourage those to go that extra length to help that side of the vote.”
