THE family of a woman who was hit by a bus on Princes Street on Tuesday have flown from Spain to be at her bedside.

The 66-year-old, who was critically injured in the collision during morning rush hour, is understood to come from Madrid and was visiting the Capital on an organised tour.

Relatives are by her bedside at the Western General Hospital, where the woman remains in a serious condition.
