PUPILS at Tollcross Primary School have celebrated the 75th anniversary of the J R R Tolkien classic The Hobbit.

From left, Freya Farr, 11, Clara Wolf, nine, Ruariadh Rattray-Cruickshank, ten, and nine-year-old Daoud Mirza were enjoying a special “Hobbit Breakfast” and making Hobbit costumes. The novels are being turned into three epic fantasy-adventure films directed, co-written and produced by Peter Jackson.
