ONE of Edinburgh’s largest urban regeneration schemes has changed hands in a “multi-million-pound” deal.

Quartermile, on the site of the former Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, has been sold by Lloyds Banking Group-backed developer Gladedale Capital to property investor Moorfield.

The 19-acre scheme is home to legal heavyweight Maclay Murray & Spens and flight search firm Skyscanner and boasts 500 apartments.

Moorfield declined to disclose the value of the deal for Quartermile.
