a CHILDREN’S charity has challenged runners from the Capital to complete a marathon to help raise funds for vulnerable youngsters.

Competitors in the Baxters Loch Ness Marathon will follow a route along the loch’s south-eastern shore, heading towards Dores and finishing in Inverness.

The popular event was voted the fourth best marathon in the UK by Runner’s World magazine, with
runners travelling from across the globe to take part.
