FOUR men have been arrested after drugs worth £22,000 were seized in the west of the Capital.
A 33-year-old was stopped in Granville Terrace on Wednesday and found to have £1400 worth of herbal cannabis in his possession, and £690 in cash.
He appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court the next day and was remanded in custody
The second seizure came after a raid on a property in Watson Crescent on Friday. Around £9000 worth of class ‘A’ and ‘B’ drugs was found, along with £745 in cash. Two men, aged 24 and 18, were arrested. Both appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, where they were bailed to appear at a later date.
A cannabis cultivation with an estimated value of £12,000, along with £645 in cash, was then found in Durar Drive. A 33-year-old was arrested and appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday. He was also bailed to return later.
