SHAMED footballer Craig Thomson has made his debut for Premier League junior outfit Arniston Rangers.
The Evening News revealed this week the club was keen to sign the 22-year-old, who was placed on the sex offenders register three years ago after being convicted of preying on underage girls online.
Midfielder Thomson never played for Hearts again after his conviction and was later sent out on loan to Lithuanian clubs Kaunas and Suduva.
Thomson, who lives in Bonnyrigg, has been training with the Midlothian side.
The former Scotland under-21 star, who has been working as a window cleaner, earned £1500 a week at Hearts.
The Tynecastle club released Thomson from his contract after the side came under fire from supporters and sponsors.
Thomson, who appeared as a trialist, played the full 90 minutes in a 1-0 win over Bathgate.
