TWO stores in Edinburgh have picked up awards at last night’s United Wholesale Scotland Scottish Independent Retail Awards.
The event was organised to recognise the best independent retailers in the country, and more than 4000 votes were received from all over Scotland.
Hanover Health Foods won the Health and Lifestyle Retailer of the Year award, while The Great Grog Company picked up Off-Sales of the Year.
A retailer from Armadale, West Lothian, was also a winner, with Lothian Superstore Day Today winning Responsible Retailer of the Year, and Convenience Store of the Year
Irfan Younis, director for the event organisers Creative Oceanic, said: “Tonight was a fantastic success. We had a great turn out and everyone had a fun time.”
