RESIDENT soldiers at the Army’s Personnel Recovery Centre in Edinburgh House, Gilmerton, were thanking players of the People’s Postcode Lottery this week after they took delivery of ten brand new LCD TVs from the charity.

Captian Fraser Dowling, right, helped Edinburgh House residents unload the new TVs after they were delivered thanks to funding from the charity lottery.

The Charity Help for Heroes, which supports wounded British armed forces servicemen and women initially provided funding for the recovery centre and nominated the facility to receive the donation of TVs which will be used to enhance the facilities for residents.
