A BARE-footed woman punched a hole in a fellow female clubber’s cheek with a stiletto-heel, a court heard.
Lynn Paterson, 29, said she’d taken her high heels off because her feet were sore during a night out.
She told Livingston Sheriff Court she hadn’t meant to use her shoes as a weapon – but she pleaded guilty to assault when she appeared on indictment today.
Paterson, of Cricketfield Place, Bathgate, admitted striking Jodie Hendrie on the face to her injury and permanent disfigurement while holding a high-heeled shoe.
The attack took place in George Street, Bathgate, on September 29 last year. The court was told that Ms Hendrie had been scarred for life by Paterson’s vicious attack.
Sheriff Susan Craig said: “She wasn’t using shoes as a weapon but they were in her hand when she went to assault Ms Hendrie.”
Sheriff Craig deferred sentence until March 27.
