SONGSTRESS Susan Boyle has pulled out of a gig hosted by her brother following a management spat.
The 52-year-old worldwide star has been due to perform the grand finale at a variety show run by brother Gerry in Blackpool.
But the chart-topping West Lothian singer has now officially pulled out of the Instant World Variety Gala at the Blackpool Opera House after SuBo’s management accused Mr Boyle of trying to profit from their star’s success.
A statement on SuBo’s website said: “Susan will not appear. Both parties will endeavour to rectify the situation and apologise sincerely for the inconvenience.”
The decision is a blow for Mr Boyle, who wants his sister to appear at the future re-opening of the mothballed Odeon cinema on Clerk Street in Edinburgh.
He is in the process of relaunching the venue as An Instant World, with the Blackpool show meant to be a dry run for the Capital.
