SHE might have performed for some of the biggest names in the music industry, but The Voice star Anna McLuckie has admitted she was still left red-faced after her audition was shown at school assembly.

Anna, a sixth-year pupil at the Capital’s Broughton High School, was selected for the next round after her performance of Daft Punk’s Get Lucky wowed the judges on the BBC talent show.

And she revealed her school have been supporting her all the way.

“The teachers and everyone at the school have all been very supportive. But they’ve been playing the video at assembly, and I’m quite easily embarrassed.” The 17-year-old chose will.i.am as her mentor after he and Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson vied to have the singer and harpist on their team.

As well as being shown to the school, a YouTube video of her performance has already had more than a million hits from fans.
