Drivers are being warned to expect further traffic congestion near the Royal Highland Centre tonight as the Unibet Masters darts concludes this evening.

The event’s second and final day will take place between 7pm and 11pm, with between 1200 and 1500 expected to attend.

Drivers are being warned that a large number of pedestrians are expected to be walking along narrow roads in dark conditions.

A traffic management plan is in place to deal with extra car and bus traffic. Drivers will be directed along Ingliston Road and Fairview Road towards the north car park of the Royal Highland Centre, where parking will be available.

Taxi ranks are being established on Ingliston Road and Fairview Road, while private hire pick-ups will be accommodated in the disabled car park of British Car Auctions.
