Commuters were held up on the Edinburgh bypass this morning after three vehicles crashed in rush hour.

A police spokesman confirmed the vehicles collided at the Calder Junction at around 9.15am and are currently blocking the fast lane.

One woman is reported to be in shock but no one was seriously injured.

All 3 cars, a Skoda, Audi and Nissan, were removed at 10.30am and the roadway has been cleared.
