A MAN had to be cut free from the wreckage after the Jaguar X-type he was driving crashed near Wallyford, East Lothian, early today.

The accident happened close to the roundabout where the A199 meets the A6094 at Wallyford Toll at around 1.20am. Firefighters used cutting gear to remove the car roof and the man was taken to hospital with leg injuries.

No other vehicle was involved.
