SPEED cameras will be placed across Edinburgh next week in a bid to catch fast drivers.
The mobile devices, which can land motorists with a £60 fine and three points on their licence, will operate across the north of the city and in parts of West Lothian.
Cameras will also be placed on roads into Edinburgh from the Borders.
The Lothian and Borders Safety Camera Partnership said, as of Monday, the cameras will be positioned at West Granton Road, the A70 in Balerno, the A90 at Cramond and at Muirhouse Parkway.
In West Lothian, speed traps will be placed at the A705 in east Whitburn, the A89 in Armadale and the A706 at Longridge.
They will also be in operation at the A899 Lizzie Bryce roundabout, the A71 Polbeth and the A899 at Deer Park.
