A TRIBUTE single dedicated to Keane Wallis-Bennett, the 12-year-old killed by a collapsing wall at her school, could be destined for the charts.
Classmates at Liberton High School recorded the poignant track in her honour soon after the tragedy on April 1.
Keane’s Song – a three-minute anthem made up of simple lyrics describing everyday moments – is due to be released on iTunes next Monday, but is available to pre-order from today.
Keane’s mum, Abbie Wallis, 35, said: “The children knew her really well. They’ve done us proud.
“A chart position would be a lovely tribute, but that’s not what matters. I’m just glad people will get the opportunity to hear the song.”
Proceeds from sales will go towards a memorial garden at the school.
