One Hearts fan has been working on a very special cupcake - a full-size edible replica of the Scottish Communities League Cup.
David Duncan, from 3D cakes in Roseburn, has created a replica of the 67-year-old trophy to spur on his side.
David, 28, spent ten hours crafting the lifesize model which comes complete with edible ribbons in Hearts colours.
He decided to attempt the cake trophy after the bakery was visited by the real thing. He said: “I’ve never done a lifesize trophy cake before so that was what was challenging but it went really well.”
The cake is now proudly displayed in his shop window where it will remain until after Sunday’s final – which David expects Hearts to win 2-0.
