Widow leads tumour rally

LIVINGSTON widow Rachel Clark is to lead a rally at the Scottish Parliament to call for an awareness campaign among doctors and the public about brain tumours.

Her soldier husband, Shawn, died just months after his tumour was diagnosed.

Unlike most cancers, there has been little change in brain tumour survival rates since the 1970s and there is concern that late diagnosis is causing premature death.
