THE wife of a man who died after being found injured in a city park at the weekend has told how she has been left “devastated” by his death.

Ebrahim Aryaei Nekoo, from the Capital, was discovered in Saughton Park at around 7.20am on Saturday. He had been run over.

Mr Nekoo’s wife, Mobina Jafari, said: “Ebrahim was a warm and devoted husband whom I adored. Everyone who knew and cared for him is completely shocked and devastated by his death.

“His friends and family would like to thank the wider community for their messages of support.”

A man yesterday appeared in court charged with his murder. Stephen Nolan made no plea or declaration when he appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court. The 47-year-old was remanded in custody.
