Workers building the UK’s largest ever warships are using a mobile app to stop them getting lost on the giant Queen Elizabeth carrier.

They are using the system named Plat Nav to find their way around the 3000 compartments, spread across 12 decks.

Even routine journeys can take up to 20 minutes in one of the most complex workplaces in the world.

HMS Queen Elizabeth will be officially christened by the Queen in a ceremony on July 4.
