NEW additions have been made to a young person’s card allowing them to tot up more points.
Going swimming, writing a film and volunteering are among the activities added to the Young Scot card.
It is hoped that will encourage the tens of thousands of card-holders across the Lothians to become involved in more positive activities while receiving additional benefits.
That means they will be offered special deals such as discounted driving lessons and free access to certain Lothians attractions.
Minister for Children and Young People Angela Constance said: “The addition of the digital rewards points system to the already excellent Young Scot Smart Card is great news, providing as it does, an innovative way for youngsters to enhance their skills and confidence by enjoying activities and experiences which will benefit them and their local communities.”
