WESTER Hailes Youth Agency is appealing for votes after being shortlisted for an award.
The agency, which is competing for two prize funds of £5000 in the Lloyds Banking Group Community Fund Award, is urging residents across Edinburgh and the Lothians to vote in support of its bid.
The Lloyds community fund aims to “unlock the potential of young people” by supporting UK communities at the grass roots.
This year it will make awards of £5000 to up to 140 local good causes across the UK. Wester Hailes Youth Agency strives to promote, establish and operate sustainable services and facilities for the benefit of young people aged between eight and 25.
Public voting will end on September 9, with winning organisations notified by October 31.
