POLICE have carried out a crackdown on antisocial behaviour in the Inverleith area in the wake of complaints from residents.
Officers conducted extra high-visibility patrols in parks and walkways in a bid to curb the problem.
The force reported a 36 per cent drop in calls about antisocial youths following the recent operation.
Meanwhile, a dedicated officer has been tasked with keeping an overview of bike thefts in Inverleith. The officer is now working to identify crime trends and potential suspects over cycle thefts.
