Borussia Monchengladbach have added to the hilarity following a viral post from an Edinburgh pub two weeks ago with a sign of their own.

An Edinburgh bar referred to Monchengladbach as simply “a German team” on their blackboard after giving up trying to spell it prior to the Champions League clash against Celtic, however, it seems the German side have seen the funny side of it all with their marketing, and now, a sign of their own.

The club changed their social media channel to ‘A German Team’ and sold scarves with their ‘new’ name, with more ordered due to high demand.

However, their latest effort has turned the tales with the club simply referring to the club making numerous attempts to spell Scottish team, before writing ‘Celtic’

Whatever, the result between the two sides, the names of the teams have added even more excitement.
