Police are investigating after three fireworks were set off at a city high school.

No-one was injured in the incident, which place took around midday, at Trinity Academy

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Police in Edinburgh were called to a secondary school in the north of the city at around midday on Friday, after three fireworks were set off.

“No one was injured in the incident and there is no ongoing risk to pupils or staff.

“Officers are currently pursuing a positive line of enquiry in relation to this matter.”
