POPULAR sandwich chain Pret A Manger has announced that 400 lucky customers will be treated to free lunches when its newest Edinburgh shop opens next week.
Sheree King and her team of 26 are due to open the doors to Edinburgh’s newest Pret A Manger next Tuesday 19 September.
The shop, located on the corner of Lothian Road and Morrison Street, will feature a comfortable seating area for around 100 customers, free Wifi, and Pret’s menu of sandwiches, baguettes, salads, snacks, hot food and sweet treats.
The shop’s Baristas will be on hand to serve a range of organic teas, coffees and hot chocolates, alongside freshly made smoothies and frappes.
Sheree, General Manager at the new shop, has been a part of Pret for 18 years, most recently heading up the shop at Shandwick Place. She says, “We are absolutely thrilled to be tempting Edinburgh’s taste buds with its sixth Pret! Our fantastic new team are trained and ready, and we can’t wait to open the doors and meet our new customers.
“To celebrate the opening and help our customers meet the team, we’re going to open the shop for a sneak peek next Monday 18th September from 12pm. The first 400 customers through the door will receive lunch on us!”
The lunch will consist of a salad, sandwich, baguette or wrap, a dessert or snack, a cold drink and a barista prepared hot drink. Full details of the event can be found here – www.pret.co.uk/freelunch
