Supermarkets are a part of everyday life, and the winner of the Supermarket of the Year 2017 has been named.
Discount supermarket Aldi has been crowned Supermarket of the Year at the prestigious Retail Industry Awards for the third consecutive year, beating stiff competition from Tesco and Morrisons.
The award, judged by an independent panel of industry experts, was given to Aldi in recognition of its longstanding commitment to delivering products of the highest quality at unbeatable prices to its customers.
Aldi has scooped up two other honours at the award – Fresh Produce Retailer of the Year for a third consecutive year and Chilled Retailer of the Year for the first time.

The store was recently named Favourite Supermarket at the Good Housekeeping Food Awards 2017.
