A NAPIER University student had been named the “The Face of The Centre” in a contest run by a Livingston shopping complex.

Carla Megginson, 20, will now be featured in the shopping centre’s Autumn/Winter 17 campaign.

Carla from Kinross, who is currently studying Business Management with Accounting at Edinburgh Napier University and never modelled before, will be unveiled in the front page of The Centre’s first-ever 24-page magazine and featured in the mall’s website and billboards, as part of its new Autumn/Winter campaign.

As part of her prize Carla also won a £250 Gift Card and a selection of outfits from the photo shoot.

She said: “I’m absolutely delighted be chosen as the Face of The Centre – it was completely unexpected as I’ve never done anything like this before.

“My cousin told me to enter the competition but I honestly didn’t think I’d be in with a chance of winning.

“Taking part in the photo shoot was so exciting and I’m really looking forward to working with Superior Model Management for the next 12 months.”

Ashley Bisland, Deputy Centre Director of The Centre, Livingston, added: “We were overwhelmed by the number of entries, which made judging very difficult.”
