Sonians swoop for Canadian prop

WATSONIANS have recruited Canadian prop Tyler Hawes to bolster their options in the front row after the 30-year-old impressed during a summer tour with his national side.
He may well be pitched into the first team this weekend in the Scottish Hydro Electric Premiership Division One Capital derby with Currie.

Aitchison said: "Tyler gives us an extra option at a time when our prop cover is being stretched. He is a big, strong boy."
