The street names in tomorrow’s Great Edinburgh Run will make race favourite Daniel Wallis feel right at home.
“My address in New Zealand is Holyrood Street,” the Kiwi internationalist revealed. “So it’s funny having a race that’s starting and finishing in Holyrood.”
Over a ten-mile course that will loop through the Old Town and the city centre before one last push through the Royal Park, Wallis will start as favourite on his debut at the annual event.
Glasgow-based Eritrean runner Tewolde Mengisteab should be his only real challenger.
