City of Edinburgh BC tomorrow promote their last “Super Saturday” of the season at the new Portobello HS when up-and-coming club Stirling Knights provide the opposition in all five games beginning at 11am with the under-16 women and finishing with Kings v Knights senior men at 7pm.

Despite their recent defeat by Glasgow Storm, Kings men are still in with a chance of finishing as runners-up to Falkirk Fury, who sealed the Scottish League title with a 74-68 victory over Boroughmuir Blaze at the Mariner SC last weekend.

Blaze and St Mirren are also both in contention for the second spot and Blaze must take care of an improving Glasgow University at the Crags SC tonight at 8.20pm. Glasgow upset Edinburgh University in their national league battle last Saturday, a result which GU followed up by beating Cambridge away in the British University Trophy quarter-final this week.

Edinburgh University though out of Top Four contention, could do Blaze a favour by beating Saints at the Pleasance on Sunday at 4.20pm.

EU women meanwhile face Tayside Musketeers at Grove Academy on Sunday at 3.20pm in a potential runners-up decider behind champions Edinburgh Kool Kats.
