Fourth-placed Edinburgh Kings face another crucial Scottish Basketball League game against Glasgow Storm at Portobello High tonight (8pm).

Not only are Storm chasing a play-off spot but they are coached by national team boss Iain “Bull” Maclean who will be anxious to cast his eye over potential squad members ahead of the summer internationals.

A top-four spot is well within the grasp of Boroughmuir Blaze, who have a game in hand over Kings. Blaze may well wonder which Glasgow University team will turn up at the Crags Sports Centre tomorrow (3.20pm), the GU team who beat St Mirren at Paisley recently or the one who, on the admission of coach Josh Tackie, were lucky to beat Tayside Musketeers at home last Saturday.

Third-placed Edinburgh University should keep up their play-off challenge by beating Dunfermline Reign at the Pleasance tomorrow (2.50pm).

At Portobello High tomorrow, Edinburgh Kool Kats senior women and Kings junior men will be presented with their Scottish League trophies at approx 4.30pm and 8.30pm.

Kats have a triple-header with Falkirk Fury, the cadettes start at 11am, followed by the juniors (1pm) and seniors (3pm). Coach Jim Wright’s junior men play Falkirk Fury at 7pm following the cadets game versus Fury at 5pm.
