Scotland’s oldest basketball club Pleasance have won the Lothian men’s league title and could make it a league and cup double if they defeat Dunfermline Reign in the final at St Columba’s High, Dunfermline tomorrow (2.15pm).

Pleasance defeated nearest league rivals Edinburgh Lions 75-67 in a close cup semi-final in which Pleasance led 32-27 at half-time only for Lions to hit back and lead 51-45 at the end of the third quarter.

Edinburgh Comets will play Edinburgh Kool Kats in the women’s final before the men’s match (12.15pm) after beating West Lothian Wolves 66-40 in the semi-final.
