Calum Burrell made a spectacular debut for Grange II on Saturday, hitting 106 not out batting number eight to help his side to a convincing home win over Dunfermline in East One.
Grange II had been left kicking their heels in frustration on week one when their match against Edinburgh South was off, but they made up for it in some style at the weekend.
Batting first Grange posted a daunting 360-8 with Burrell and teenager Duncan Player putting on 168 for the ninth wicket in just over an hour.
Burrell reached three figures while Scotland age-grade cap Player finished on 68 not out.
Spinner Drew Weir then took the plaudits with the ball, taking 7-28 to decimate the visiting batting line-up as they were bowled out for 101 to hand Grange II a 259-run win.
Meanwhile, three clubs have won two from two at the top of the division.
Holy Cross were grateful to a good eighth wicket partnership by Shannon Bonfield and Rob Bainbridge at Peffermill as they saw off Edinburgh Accies by three wickets.
In East Lothian, youngster Fraser Allardice’s good form continued as he scored a 50 and took two wickets as Carlton II defeated Musselburgh.
Yesterday, Murrayfield DAFS became the third team to make it two from two with victory over Watsonians II at Myreside.
In the final match in the top flight St Boswells saw off Edinburgh South on Saturday.
