The Murgitroyd Masterton Trophy quarter-finals take place over the next two evenings.

Edinburgh, who made it to the final last summer, know they will need to be at their best if they are to compete with an in-form Mazars Grange side.

They meet at Campbell Park this evening and, with Grange having seven players in the Eastern Knights representative set-up currently, they should be too strong. Three ties are due to be played tomorrow, Carlton taking on SMRH, Stuart&Stuart Penicuik travelling into the Capital to face Murrayfield DAFS and Linlithgow hosting Edinburgh Accies.

Carlton should be favourites in the first tie, but Michael Miller did score a century for SMRH in round one and could be a danger man at Grange Loan.

The DAFS-Penicuik clash is likely to be a tight affair while Accies will be hopeful of getting a victory in West Lothian.
