Grange will come to the aid of Scottish cricket on Wednesday by hurriedly re-staging the second one-day international against New Zealand A.
The contest was washed out yesterday at Ayr and officials moved quickly to organise an alternative fixture in Edinburgh.
Twenty four hours later, at the same ground, the third and final encounter is due to be played between the teams. The matches get underway at 10.45am with spectators admitted free on Wednesday in Stockbridge.
Meanwhile, the annual Activcity Cup for East clubs was won at Myreside yesterday by RH Corstorphine who beat Morton in the final. It was a more active afternoon than envisaged for RHC’s Andrew Ward who turned up to spectate but was drafted in as a late sub. Morton posted 110 all out with Joe Kinghorn-Gray taking 4-26 in 3.3 overs while Cameron Leeder helped chase down the runs in 16 overs with 38 not out.
